Do I need separate mixing containers for each epoxy batch/pour?

Yes. You'll need to use a new mixing container for each batch you mix up.

This is because the residual resin that remains in a container will start curing and will cause issues if you attempt to add fresh components to the used container.

Depending on what you're doing you'll need the following:

  • A minimum of one 5-quart container for every gallon you plan on pouring.
  • A minimum of four 1-quart containers per gallon used for your seal coat(s).

Please Note: When purchasing epoxy, buckets will not be included in your order unless you add them to the cart before checking out.
