Can you pour a flood coat thinner than 1/8 inch?
No. The table top epoxy is used for flood coats, and it will always self-level to 1/8 of an inch.
Although the seal coat is technically thinner due to its paintbrush method, it isn't meant to be the final coat for anything but a vertical backsplash.
Anything thinner than the self-leveling flood coat will be inconsistent and provide inadequate protection.
