How to remove epoxy from surfaces or hands
To remove epoxy from your hands:
- Simply wash them with soap and warm water like normal.
- If you're having trouble removing it, you can try a special hand wash like Fast Orange.
The method for removing epoxy from a surface is determined by its cure state.
For uncured or mild, sticky epoxy:
- You can use acetone.
- Acetone will not remove hardened or cured epoxy.
For cured or hardened epoxy:
- Acetone will not work.
- You can try scraping it off or sanding it off.
- Caution: You could attempt to use Klean Strip Premium Stripper; however, it is a very strong chemical that may end up damaging the surface of the materials the epoxy has bonded with.
