How do you apply epoxy over plywood?

There's a two-stage process to applying epoxy to plywood.

You can use UltraClear Bar & Table Top Epoxy for both steps.

  1. Begin by applying a seal coat.
  2. Four to ten hours after the seal coat, finish with a flood coat.
    1. A flood coat is poured onto the surface. It will flow and self level to 1/8 of an inch.
    2. Flood coat should be poured approximately 4-10 hours after the seal coat (6 hours is optimal).

Do not exceed 10 hours, or you will need to sand in between.

    3. Flood coats are applied in 1/8" layers at a time, as many as desired can be applied, however one coat is fine for most tables, bar tops, and countertops.
