How do you apply epoxy to a bar rail?

Applying epoxy on a bar rail can be tricky due to the slope of the rail and the viscosity of bar top epoxy.

Some skilled professionals are able to do it well. 

We recommend putting lacquer or polyurethane on the bar rail instead of epoxy as the epoxy will not level properly on the rail causing it to have waves or brush strokes.
